We specialise in Limited Edition fine art prints of beautifully conserved antique textiles and a hand finished, bespoke framing service is also available.
Our vision at Lydia's House is very much in the current vogue with a strong social focus combined with training and production of quality craftsmanship, a commercially viable option opposing this age of throw away and mass production. We have been likened to William Morris and the Arts and Crafts movement
We are presently trading through our web site and an exclusive shop outlet on Dean Street, in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Presently there are twenty five prints in the series ranging from 17th century fine silk embroideries through to the 1900's Arts & Crafts 'applique work'
Fine Art Prints are an incredible reproduction of the original needle work printed using the latest giclee printing technology, making it difficult to differentiate between the textile and the print. the whole process requires patience and diligence to produce the high quality finished product.
