Catherine Trilló has worked in the field of antiques since the age of 16 in the family business. She studied at art college completing a foundation course in fine art and moved to London where she worked at The Gallery of Antique Costume and Textiles and managed a very busy antique shop in North London working with theatre companies, interior designers and magazines, incorporating sales/marketing, import and export. Catherine also worked from the hanger at Christies Auction House.
Catherine Trilló Decorative Antique Textiles was established in 1996. Contracts have been gained through, Liberty & Co, London, Hepple, interior designers and showrooms across the country.
Presently there are twenty five prints in the series ranging from 17th century fine silk embroideries through to the 1900's Arts & Crafts 'applique work'
Fine Art Prints are an incredible reproduction of the original needle work printed using the latest giclee printing technology, making it difficult to differentiate between the textile and the print. the whole process requires patience and diligence to produce the high quality finished product.
